Kendall loves her nap time, especially after school.
Day 358 - 8/27
Kendall finally got to see EK at dinner tonight. They haven't seen each other in a week since EK went to LA and KK was sick. They were so cute when they saw each other. They hugged and KK said, "Ella, I missed you!"
Day 356 - 8/25
Nanny and Josie (the dog) had to leave today, but KK and Mommy really appreciates all of Nanny's help.
Day 354 - 8/23
Kendall ran a fever all day today. She went to the doctor this morning, and she was tested for strep since her throat looked red and she had a high fever. It came back negative, so the doctor is thinking that she might just have a virus. If her fever doesn't go away in 48 hours, we will be back for some more test.
Day 353 - 8/22
Kendall woke up at 3:30, 4:30, and then again at 5:30am. When she got in bed with us, we realized she was burning up. She had a temperature of 103! Throughout the day, it would go up and down from 99 to 103. Before going to bed, it jumped all the way to 104, so she stayed up until her fever went down to 102.
Day 352 - 8/21
Today is Daddy's 40th Birthday!! Kendall helped start his day off nice by sleeping in until 7:00 unlike her normal 5am wake-up call.
Day 351 - 8/20
Oh-no, Kendall found all the old Disney VHS movies. The problem with that is.....we don't have a working VCR anymore.
Day 350 - 8/19
Kendall learned the letter M today at school. She couldn't wait to tell me what letter it was, the color, and the sound it made. She even had to sleep with that M.
Day 348 - 8/17
Kendall started off her morning being really excited for school. She picked out her clothes and helped me pack her lunch. As we were waiting in the car rider line for school, she started saying, "No School, Mommy!" When the teacher came to our car to get her, KK was trying hard to keep her tears from falling, but once they walked away, her tears started falling.
Day 347 - 8/16
When KK wakes up from a nap, she is soaked. Her hair is a hot mess and her shirt is usually drenched as well. She is in desperate need of a ceiling fan in her room. Sounds like a job for her Pappy!
Day 345 - 8/14
Kendall helped Mommy throw Daddy a surprise 40th birthday party tonight. While Daddy had fun visiting with old and new friends, Kendall had fun playing with all her buddies!
Day 344 - 8/13
Ray's best friend, Ben, came into town and is staying the weekend with us. Within 15 minutes of meeting Kendall, Ben taught her a new trick, "ride monkey!"
Day 341 - 8/10
Kendall got to meet her new teacher at "Mom's Morning Out" today. When we pulled up to the school, Kendall said, "No, Mommy!" I guess she's not ready to go back.
Day 339 - 8/8
Kendall hasn't slept through the night since we have been home from the hospital. She has been waking up and walking into my room around 4:00 every morning. She lets me lay her back down, and she goes back to sleep with no trouble. Maybe she wants to get attention through the night like her little sister is getting, who knows.
Day 338 - 8/7
KK and I went to Drew's 7th birthday party at a fishing farm in Eagleville, TN. Kendall actually enjoyed fishing, she helped me cast the line, she held the pole, and she loved reeling it in. She even caught her first fish, with the help of a dear friend.
Day 336 - 8/5
Ever since Nanny ask Kendall, "Does the cat have your tongue?" now she randomly sticks her tongue out and says, "Mommy, look!"
Day 335 - 8/4
Kendall took Jessie with her to her two year check-up. KK weighs 25.8 pounds and is 34 inches tall. Her weight was in the 25th percentile, and her height was in the 50th percentile. Before leaving, KK had to get two shots, and it broke my heart. I finally cheered her up with a chocolate milkshake.
Day 334 - 8/3
Kendall walked in my room at 6:30 this morning, and I guess she thought I needed my sleep because she hung out with me for an entire hour. She got all of her Toy Story buddies from her room and brought them into my bed and played while I slept.
Day 331 - 7/31
Kendall had a full day today! She went to her BFF's birthday party and had tons of fun. When we got home around 2:00, she crashed. Once she woke up, we all headed to Decatur for some Chicago Style pizza!
